THIRD LEG STAND*
TTLS with optional embroidery on bag
My TTLS is a long three-piece wooden rod that is held together with screws for easy assembly/disassembly. At the top of the TTLS is a stainless-steel hook that attaches under the saddle and securely holds to the bike. The rod is Pennsylvania Black Cherry that I turn on the lathe and each piece has screw-in attachments to enable the rider to quickly assemble the stand and put it in place. All wood parts are finished with multiple coats of spar varnish for durability.
Val makes an optional hand-made fabric sleeve with Velcro attachments. It is embroidered with your names.
We stow ours in our saddlebag but it could easily be attached to any part of the frame with a couple of pieces of Velcro.
I've solved the problem of bike roll after the bike is set on the TTLS with a wire Brake Holder that fits from the handle bar to the front brake lever to safely activate the front brake to keep the front wheel from rolling while using the TTLS.
Since bikes come in a variety of sizes, I need for you to measure the distance from the metal frame that supports the saddle straight down to the ground. When you order, put that information in the PayPal comments section. Val will also make the fabric case with your names embroidered on it if you wish. If you order the fabric sleeve, you must indicate what you want embroidered on it in the "Instructions to Merchants" section of PayPal or e-mail the information to me.
If there are no notes in the "Instructions to Merchants" section, I'll assume that you have a medium-sized frame on your bike.
